Program Overview
Schedule your next play date for Family Friday at Lux Art Institute, between 1pm and 5pm, one Friday each month. Bring your kids and take a tour with a kid-friendly do-it-yourself guide that promises a fun and interactive art journey through the studio.
Afterward take the nature trail down to the Lux Classroom for a hands-on art project, led by a Lux instructor. (Activities vary each month.) Make an afternoon of it by packing a lunch or after-school snack to enjoy outside before your tour. Recommended for kids ages 4+.
Cost: Studio admission is free for members and individuals under 21; $5 for non-members.
Art project is free for up to 2 kids with one paid adult admission. (Bring ticket stub from studio visit.) Additional kids are $5 each. Free for members and their children. No registration required.
