Host your special event at Lux
Lux Art Institute is available as a rental facility for events including lectures, dinners, cocktail parties and small weddings. Lux offers a limited floor plan both inside and outside, with the main rental space being the gallery space. Space and availability are dependent on the exhibition scheduled at the requested time, as each exhibition has different restrictions. Additionally, Lux is a museum grade facility that requires all rentals to adhere to strict guidelines to maintain the security of the artwork and the building.

Lux Art Institute is located on a five-acre parcel overlooking the San Elijo Lagoon and is surrounded by a wildlife preserve that stretches two miles to the Pacific Ocean. Discreetly nestled into the hillside above the San Elijo Lagoon, the facility reflects the open relationship Lux fosters between art and environment.
Designed by architect Renzo Zecchetto, the Artist Pavilion incorporates a variety of water- and energy-saving strategies to reduce its impact on the local environment, qualifying it as one of only a few LEED-certified “green” buildings in San Diego County.
