Textile and Fiber Art encompasses many processes and fibers that creates immersive and tactile art. In this workshop, you will learn 3 different processes to create textiles and designs using fibers including paper, fabric hybrids, resourcing natural dyes and printing, and creating unique imagery with fibrous textures.

The Human portrait has been a prominent subject of many artists for much of art history with portrait sculpture securing a special place in the process of learning human anatomy. In a virtual setting, follow along Yasmine Kasem, as she guides you through the wonderful and technical process of portrait sculpture using a water based clay material. With detailed and precise instructions, learn how to recreate the human bust — the head and shoulders— and the complicated and fascinating features of the human face and variety of techniques to capture them. In this introductory course, you will learn the essential techniques of portrait sculpture from armature building to complicated facial features
