Join our Lux educators as they provide guided tutorials of easy-to-do at home projects for young artists! Tune in weekly for a new art-making video inspired by the art and artists featured in Lux's exhibitions.
Art@Home begins on May 5th with new episodes every Tuesday on Instagram TV and archived on our YouTube page. Downloadable lesson plans will be available from our website.
Lux Art Institute offers a unique opportunity for kids to explore, learn and expand their love for art. With weekly themes kids can participate in a variety of hands-on projects to further develop their creative imaginations!
Our teaching artists will introduce campers to acrylics, ceramics, charcoal, chalk, ink, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, sculpture and nature to help the children develop their artistic and technical skills. Campers will have two working cycles every day.
Drop-off is between 9:00-9:15 am. The morning starts with a long structured art project. A break of 15 minutes (10:45) will give kids enough energy to finish their first project. Right after lunch, the second project will be assigned and work will begin until pick-up at 2:00pm. After care will start at 2:05pm.
