REGISTERAbout Ellen Fager:Ellen has been a well-known ceramic artist in San Diego for many years. She and her late husband, Ed Thompson, were extensively involved at the UCSD Crafts Center. Ellen is a member of the Allied Craftsmen of San Diego, the San Diego Potters' Guild and the Five Potters Group. Her work is one-of-a-kind and functional and is mostly wheel-thrown - almost always paddled, pounded, cut and pasted, altered and combined. A selection of her and other colleagues work is currently on display (through April 28) at the Balboa Park Japanese Friendship Garden. Ellen's visit to Lux is highly - and happily - anticipated.
